Nominated for the 2021 Pushcart Prize for Poetry!!!
November 22, 2021 - Quite excited to announce that I have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize in Poetry by Synkronicity Magazine for poem "Fireflies." This is quite an honor, especially since not only did "Fireflies" win Synkroniciti Magazine's 'Transcendence" Poetry Contest this past October, but this will be my first Pushcart nomination ever. It's a gooooood day.

November 16, 2021 - Excited to announce that I will participate, as part of a select 24, in Poetry in Pajamas' 2022 season (hosted courtesy of Sundress Publications). My Facebook Live reading is scheduled for July 3, 2022, featuring poems such as "Frozen Charlotte" (originally published at Cajun Mutt Press), "Dandelion Wine" (originally published at The Milk House), and "Boy with a Box Full of Wasps" (scheduled for publication December 2021 at Beir Bua Journal). Should be good fun.

November 6, 2021 - Great news today! My poem "Ai! Ai! Ai! (A Tartarus for Youth)" was named "Award Winner" in the Best Poem category at the EdiPlay International Film Festival in Paris, France. Absolutely thrilled that this newly revised (2021) piece has received this amazing honor.

September 15, 2021 - I am happy to announce that Luca Bowles (a.k.a. Mambo) and I have received the contract for little punctures, our illustrated book of micro poetry, from Really Serious Literature (@rlysrslit) and we are in the process of getting that 'bad boy' signed and back into Barracuda's hands. This project, the sophomore effort since my first book of poetry and short fiction Indelible Fingerprints (Alien Buddha Press), has been years coming and-- thanks to @rlysrslit--will be a reality soon. Publication is scheduled for 2022.

August 5, 2021 - Awesome news today. My second book--an illustrated collection of micro poems--which is a multimodal, creative collaboration with UK illustrator and artist, Luca Bowles (a.k.a. Mambo), will be published at @RLYSRSLIT sometime in 2024. So glad to have found a home for this project. Many thanks to Barracuda Guarisco for the acceptance.
Acceptance into Tupelo Press' 30/30 Project for August 2021!!!
June 3, 2021 - Thrilled to get word that I will be one of 10 poets who will be participating in Tupelo Press' 30/30 Project this August 2021. I will be writing one poem a day for 30 days, fundraising for this amazing independent press. I will am setting a minimum fundraising goal of $500 and will ask friends, family, and followers to support me in this "poetry marathon" by donating between $1 to $3 a poem ($30 to $90).
